The Markham Dart League is a non-profit organization that has been running for more than 10 years. All teams in the league are graciously sponsored by several Markham area bars and restaurants.

Our motto is fun and fair play for all members of the league. We welcome all calibre of player from rookies to ringers.

NEW FORMAT: Format 6 of 11 501 or if you are squeezed for time 5 of 9 (both players need to agree on length before first game is played.
Reminder: if you defend your position you move up 1 spot. So, be sure to report to me when you successfully defend your position.

2008-2009 Season

The new season is coming up. Submit your teams to

TEAMS ARE DUE BY SEPTEMBER 1. I have emailed every person for whom I have an email, so I have done all I can do, and we are not chasing captains to join. Any submissions received after September 1st will not be accepted.  Please check the roster page to make sure your team is listed there.If you have friends who have not submitted a team, please remind them.
Bar Assignments
DO NOT HASSLE BAR OWNERS ABOUT YOUR TEAM PLAYING THERE. THE LEAGUE PLACES THE TEAMS, AND WE HAVE TALKED TO ALL BAR OWNERS ABOUT NOT ACCEPTING TEAMS. YOU WILL NOT DISPLACE AN EXISTING TEAM BECAUSE THE OWNER LIKES YOU BEST.
5 teams have tried this so far and it is DRIVING ME NUTS!
Once we have all the teams submitted, teams returning to the previous location will be given first priority. Some bars have expressed an interest in expanding the number of boards in their facilities, but we cannot commit to this until all bars are full.
Captains' meeting September 9
The meeting will be held this year at Colonel Mustards, at 7:30 sharp. At this meeting we will be distributing the schedules assigning teams to bars and communicating some minor rule changes. Don't worry, there are no big alterations in format this year.
All teams MUST have a team member there. There is no need to have all team members there.

We have started a Facebook group for the league. If you need a player or are a player looking for a team, this is the best place to do it.
Stats – Welcome to 2008!
Starting this year Stats must be SCANNED and EMAILED. That means at least one person on your team must not be a complete techno-phobe. No stats will be accepted at the bars any longer. Doing the stats is tough enough, without chasing them down.
